The "New"vintage Seiko watch...LINK: .info/foru...tml#post377041 ....inspired me to get two of my other watches out of the drawer and back into working order. I had the battery references for my Casio G-Shock and my Tag Heuer F1 with me today at work. However, I had not remembered to look into the caseback of the Seiko Quartz. After a few Google searches I discovered that the watch my wife found for me was a Reference: 7548-700B and is circa 1980's. Can anybody help me with this old Seiko???
Just picked up a Seiko 6309-7049. (i didn't even know what it was called before my research here)First thing i did was to take it to my watchmaker and get it cleaned and serviced along with new seals and a pressure test.It runs great about +3 seconds a day I know nothing about Seiko's except for my monsters but saw this and had to have it. Its pretty beat up .......should i change the bezel? Where would i get one if i should? Its a got a few scratches in the crystal, should i get that changed as well? Again where do i find one? Should i polish the case? It appears that it never has been polished as all edges are still sharp. Anything you can tell me would be greatly appreciated
