- Beautiful watch but after a short period of time, mesh comes loose and snags all your clothing. Do not buy it. You cannot prevent the mesh from coming loose. Poorly made duct. I am contacting Fossil directly.

Baume & Mercier 10070 wrist watches news:
Hello, I have a Rolex Presidential 3155. The Quickset for the "Day" feature is not working. Anyone have a reason why it does not work. Also, how do you remove the day wheel? I appreciate your help. Thanks.

Most Wittnauer watches that I see advertised are listed as Longines-Wittnauer, is this fair or are the two brands so far apart in quality that it is not correct to use the Longines name at the same time. I see this a lot lately with Pulsar-Seiko or even Lorus-Seiko. I can remember Lorus being a real cheap brand watch being sold for next to nothing new, now all of a sudden it is like it has gained extra credibility because of Seiko. To me the two brands are a million miles apart. So the question should Wittnauer be mention in the same breath as Longines ?This is my Wittnauer with a 11 ARG movement based on the A Schild 1361 caliber, dates it to sometime in the 50's, runs real smooth and keeps perfect time.
Next year I will be 50 and whilst I have several great watches (Pam 111, Daytona) deep in my heart my true love is Omega although I know little about them. I would like to treat myself to a 1965 model so we can both spend a year reaching 50 together. Can anyone give me some pointers, what to look at, what to avoid etc from this year? I would like an automatic if possible and a simple classic look. Thanks guys.
Greetings TRF,After thinking a rather long time about the next timepiece I'd review I thought I'd give this model a try. Given that it is the only Grandes Complications model I've had the chance to actually handle and that it is a model I particularely love I think the choice was quite the no-brainer (besides, I hope one of our friends around here who happens to own one will chime in to give his opinion on it...).Today's review: the Patek Philippe 5159- The case: The watch's first forte, the officer's case is a wonderful asset of this timepiece. Everything on it gives you the feeling that you have a vintage watch on your wrist: the big round crown, the straight lugs with their screws replacing the usual springbars and, when you take a look on the other side, the gold hinged dust cover hiding the sapphire crystal case back that displays the movement. I must admit I used to feel a tad strange while looking at such lugs on watches as I thought they were cut too roughly off the case but th
