- I wanted a nice watch for work. This watch fits the bill. It has a large enough dial and all the numbers so that I don't have to wear my glasses to see what time it is.

- A very nice watch for the money. The diamonds are tiny, and not as many as the alluded to in the photo, but is just dressy enough for my needs.

Audemars Piguet 15400OR.OO.D002CR.01 wrist watches news:
As if the world needed more items to put on our wrists, a startup company called Nixie (yes, another Nixie) is developing a wearable flying drone. This is all part of Intel's "Make It Wearable" challenge, where the chip producer has challenged teams to produce a new wave of wearable technology. Nixie's idea is to produce a small drone that can be wrapped on your wrist and taken with you.The company is developing a few prototypes, and it is unclear what their future will be, though they do have a site up and are promising e-mail subscribers that they will be notified about future developments. I think there is a good chance that wearable Nixie drones will see actual production at some point in the future. It is interesting from a watch lover's perspective to see the wrist becoming a hot piece of real estate (once again) for gadget creators, and this is not even including the quickly emerging smartwatch world. The Nixie drone isn't a watch, and as of now, it doesn't tell the time (though
I'm a new Orbita winder owner. I read a thread from John directing a winder question from someone else to this winder forum. This led me to Orbita's website and there I found a wonderfull deal on a Monaco 3 Teak. This was half price due to "minor imperfections" in finish. The price was so tempting, my wife ordered it that eve as an early Christmas gift. Now for my question....I currently have a Steinhausen winder. The Orbita runs on turns per day, and the Steinhausen unit runs on a timer. I can set the revolutions for XX seconds every XX minutes. I do not know where to start on the TPD scale. ??? How many TPD's should I begin with for Submariner, Datona and a GMTc? Can anyone provide a rough starting point?I can't wait to try my new toy. This unit is my first high-end winder and I'm looking forward to a silent winder. Thanks,Bob
Of all the Jumbos I truly love the Salmon dial. I feel it's one of the perfect dress up/dress down version of the Jumbo. Anyone have a line on one of these bad boys? How much damage should I expect if ever I find one? TIA guys!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just finished my review of the Diver on the Watch Reviews (Non-Rolex) section of TRF. Enjoy the read!!! https://.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=234019
What do you think of Omega's current push to limit AD numbers and move to boutiques?A couple of years ago you could easily get 30% off and today the few AD's left hesitate to go over 10%.I believe Omega is trying to increase brand awareness and allure, and probably increase resale values but I haven't seen used prices move up, have you? What do you think will ultimately happen? Will it pan out?
