Audemars Piguet 26022OR.OO.D098CR.01 wrist watches news:
So many axes! Triple the tourbillon fun with Thomas Prescher's ultra complex and hard to make Triple Axis Tourbillon Regulator watch. These timepieces are quite cool to watch in action and fun to wear. But sort of an "I buy Rolls Royce car for each person in the house keeping staff" type of fun. Pretty much Oprah and a handful of other people in the world can give Mr. Prescher a serious call to talk about having him make one for them. Prices all start at about $500,000 (and it comes in gold. white gold, or platinum - one for him, her, and the live-in watch butler).Read my article on the Thomas Prescher Triple Axis Tourbillon Regulator watch at Haute Living here.
Just got my Sub LV last weekend and wow, I can't stop staring! I'm wearing it everyday, and even sleeping with it! Is that crazy? My wife thinks I'm nuts hahaha. Sorry I don't have pics yet, but will get them up soon. I just got my computer reformatted and they forgot to install iphoto.Thank you all for your advice and insight in helping me choose my first Rolex. I pretty much followed everyone's kind words, especially Matthew's about getting an LV and changing the bezel to black. Which brings me to my next question: I know it's early, but wanted to try and track down the black bezel insert. Anyone have one or a lead? I posted in the FS section, but thought I'd try here too. Much appreciated!
Right now I will be attending a community college for the first time in August and I am planning to get my Associate's degree there. At first I was planning to major in criminal justice, but I'm not going to waste all that money to go there when there's a slim chance I will get the job. I had a bad juvenile record about a violent crime that I did back in high school. I was very lucky to get off so smoothly for the crazy thing that I did. They'll do a thorough background check when I try to get a job in that field. And I don't think it'll be pleasant to read exactly what happened because it's really bad.So I'm really having a hard time deciding a career that I would actually want to do. I was thinking about sociology major at first but I don't know, what about timepieces I thought. Is there even such a thing as a degree for timepieces? I don't see it anywhere, I don't see anybody talking about this or anything. I am really confused. What kind of jobs are there in the timepiece field? etc.
After a few years of waiting and months of searching, it's here - The Nautilus. Opening the packaging and wearing it for the first time made the wait well worth it. The watch looks amazing in person and feels great on the wrist. It may be a while before this comes of the wrist. Have a great weekend.
Hi all, apologies, I've never posted a thread on here before but I'm after some advice...I have a Rolex 1007 which has a 1570 calibre movement. The dial is looking quite aged now and I am reluctant to get it refinished so I wondered if any other dials would fit this model/calibre. Does anyone know? Thanks
