Geak II Watch Stretches The Limits Of Smartwatch Battery Life
Aside from the ¨C usually valid ¨C complaints that many smart watches look simply like a miniature slab with a watch strap attached, there is another major drawback that the current crop of smart watches has had£¬ and that is battery life ¨C or the lack thereof. The one exception to this has been Pebble, with the power-sipping e-ink display that it utilizes. While it does save battery life, it hardly has the flashy looks that we are expecting now from the Apple Watch and Android Wear. tudor watch issues
I have a couple issues with my Tudor oysterdate. I had it serviced by a local watchmaker last year. Before i had it serviced is lost about 15 seconds a day, now gains about 90 seconds a day. When winding the watch manually, it acts like a gear is grinding or slipping. I think part of the of one of the gear teeth a missing. Sometimes when manually winding you can hear the rotor spinning around. I was jist curious if you had any ideas what minght be wrong?

Insightful Rolex event last night (UK relevance)
Had the absolute pleasure of being invited along to a Scottish Rolex & Tudor event last night.Aside from the delicious dinner and free flowing champagne and wine all night (for which I'm suffering today), there was a large display of the Basel 2017 releases (a mix of fully functional and display models) and many other references to try throughout the evening.I believe that the event was a joint Rolex and AD affair, with the opportunity to speak to both the AD's owners (one of whom I was sitting beside during dinner) and Rolex directly, and in a quite frank and open manner.Some of the key points which may be of interest (and confirming much of what we understand) as discussed were:1) Rolex is not happy about people buying to flip and make a quick profit2) AD's are indeed under pressure from Rolex to try and prevent that happening and are mindful of their agency (and retaining it) That's not as bad as it sounds, but it does make perfect sense for an AD not to upset a particular man
