Audemars Piguet 25940SK.OO.D002CA.01 wrist watches news:
Having worn this watch for several weeks now, I can straight up just say that it is a great and pleasurable watch to wear. As I said in my initial impressions, part of what drew me to this watch was simply the overall value of it. Good brand, great look and a seconds-sub dial (which one does not see often in this price range) for under $100. How can you go wrong? Well, of course the build quality could be mediocre. That's not the case here; the Bulova is a very nicely built and sturdy watch. Maybe the strap is a piece of garbage? Nope. I love the strap that it came with. It is perfectly styled for the watch, very nicely constructed and extremely comfortable. Umm¡maybe it keeps bad time? Once again, no: it is powered by a Japanese quartz (Miyota) and is as reliable as I could ever need. ?Basically, it all comes down to looks, and I love the way it looks.Case: Sandblasted ?A9 Stainless SteelMovement: Miyota Quartz (details unknown)Dial: Black with White IndexLens: Domed AcrylicCase Back:
I just purchased a new 5711R Nautilus from an AD and have two questions:1. When setting the time, after pulling out the stem fully, I notice that this does not stop the "seconds" hand. Is this normal?2. When finished setting the time and after fully pushing in the stem, I notice that when screwing the crown in, it sounds as if the watch is being wound. Is this normal? If someone who has a nautilus would respond I would appreciate it.
...was trying to solicit some tips and tricks from friends in our WTF Watch Photography Forumon order to improve with taking pictures with dark background. My objective was to achieve this as muchas possible with the background and camera settings - not later in Photoshop.I still have a lot to learn....but some of the advice was very helpful.
Which Seamaster would you buy?
Hello,I noticed on a few occasions that my seedy pro has stopped prematurely (as in there is still power reserve)! I can get it run again when i pull the crown out and adjust the time. This is usually during the time it spends on the nite table. Initially, i thought i had forgotten to wind the watch but i have also test the power reserve and it is at a solid 48+ hours. This has happened perhaps 3 times in the last 2 months. I have also gotten it the watch to stop on a few occasion when i was setting the time. Anyone has expierenced this problem? Now, i bouight the watch used from a member off TZ. The watch was initially sold to him on 2008-01-14. I have the original sale reciept (with the amount portion cut off) and the warranty cards. But only the jeweller's name is filled in on the warranty card. The date and watch reference is empty. Will the warranty still be valid under my ownership? I heard that Omega warranty is transferrable.Thanks.
