Audemars Piguet 25979PT.0.0002CA.01 wrist watches news:
While SIHH 2016 is certainly the main topic in the watch world right now, it is not the only game in town when it comes to watch announcements this week. F.P. Journe has announced an update of their Octa Divine watch. You may recall that earlier this year F.P. Journe released a box set to commemorate the end of their production of 38 mm watches. In tandem with dropping the 38 mm size, Journe is also doing a piece-by-piece redesign of the collection. The thought with the redesign is that the old version will be discontinued, and the new version of the watch will available in 40 mm and 42 mm sizes. In order to do this, the dial needs to be redesigned because it wouldn’t look right to simply put the same dial in a larger case. Last year the Octa Lune was redesigned, and this year it's time for a redesign of the Lune’s sister watch, the Octa Divine. 1 OF 1 The new Octa Divine is generally a larger version of the old Divine with a few tweaks. Recently I had the opportunity to look at, and handle, the Seamaster Planet Ocean Good Planet GMT and limited edition Bullhead and I'm curious - which watch would you pick (ignoring the price difference)? The unique shape of the Bullhead is very interesting to me but, on the flip side, I also find the blue and orange colour combination of the Good Planet very attractive. This is even more so if you consider Good Planet with the blue rubber strap.Max
Been a member of WUS for a while and just joined here.... G'day all from Australia! My dilemma: I just got a new (days old) 41.5mm grey dial Omega Seamaster AT 8500 ref. 231.10.42.21.06.001 but I'm not sure if I really like it. The watch is awesome to look at but I'm not sure that it sits right on my wrist - I couldn't decide between the 38.5mm or 41.5mm case; one felt too small and the other too clumsy.I'm thinking of trading it for a Rolex - I'd love a green Milgauss but I don't think the budget would stretch that far so, a seadweller is what I'd look for. Am I crazy wanting to trade the AT for a seadweller?????
