Audemars Piguet 26378IO.OO.A001KE.01. wrist watches news:
A new guard pin system developed for the watch enhances shock resistance. This reduces the risk of accidental displacement of the pallet fork. The high frequency of the movement has a significant thirst for energy. Burberry have equipped the movement with twin barrels affording the watch a power reserve of 90 hours. I particularly like the view of the spring barrels, visible from both the front and back of the watch.
The last trip to the Casio dealer was tough. He'd received the MTGS1000V-1A, GPW1000T-1A along with the two versions of the GWG-1000-1A Mudmaster. I had a standing order for the black Mudmaster since the Baselworld release announcement but the yellow and olive versions seem to be for NA. I liked the yellow dial color scheme so that came home. He put in an order for a black band and that should arrive to these shores in 2-3 months. I really like the curved strap transition on the case. Makes for very comfortable wear with this chunky watch on my small wrist. My one wish is would be a sunrise-sunset mode. That has been a very useful feature on the 9400 Rangeman. Overall, this one is a nicely featured time piece. :)
I've had my Williams F1 now for about a week and I recently let my chronograph run for a bit (I had yet to let it run past an hour). When it got near the one hour mark I noticed that the hour dial was already past the first hash and it still had about 5-10 minutes to go for the hour to pass . The minute dial is spot on when the second hand reaches 12 but the hour seems to be running just a bit fast. It's not a huge deal to me since the watch has been keeping excellent time but it definitely is bothering me when I think about it.I know when I first got the watch I made the rookie mistake of not paying attention to the time and accidentally trying to set the date on a valjoux 7750 between the no-no times (2200-200) , could this be why the hour is running fast on my chrono?Any help/feedback is much appreciated
I sometimes hear it said that one watch wears bigger or smaller that another of the same mm size. What do they actually mean?
I¡¯m thinking about wearing a yellow gold Rolex every day! And I¡¯m not worried about the scratches! I would love to see pictures of battle tested precious metal watches.
