Audemars Piguet 26400au.oo.a002ca.01 wrist watches news:
Former Romain Jerome CEO Yvan Arpa has joined New York-based Jacob & Co. as COO. During Arpa’s tenure at Romain Jerome, the brand produced some of the most provocative timepieces of the decade, including one made from pieces of the Titanic, another priced at $300,000 that did not tell the time, and the moon dust-laced “The Truth About Roswell”. Jacob & Co. is best known for large, colorful, jewel-encrusted watches often worn by celebrities and hip-hop stars. Below, RJ’s “The Truth About Roswell” and a classic Jacob & Co. five timezone watch. In 2006, Jacob & Co. ventured into haute horlogerie (courtesy of now-defunct BNB Concept) with the groundbreaking Quenttin watch, which featured a 31 day power reserve and a vertical tourbillon.Jacob & Co. is also known for its colorful namesake founder Jacob Arabo, born Yakov Arabov, better known as Jacob the Jeweler. It has red hands and a red rim on the face and other red highlights.Which model is it? I couldn't find it on the Rolex web site.Cheers,
Thought I'd post some pics of this monster. It's a massive watch but also one of the most comfortable! superb quality as is the bracelet. nice and heavy but settles nicely on the wrist after a few minutes. keeps fantastic time. I'd tried to catch the blued hands and show the dial texture.. quick and dirty pics.. I'll try to get nicer ones with the good camcheers David

We have quite a few collectors who specialize in certain brands, especially vintage. First question: What attracted you to that brand? I've also noticed a few of you have started to branch out to another brand or two, which leads to the second question: why are you expanding your focus? Lastly, what is the biggest worry about leaving your comfort zone? For me, I started in vintage with Bulova because they have something for everybody and were relatively inexpensive. As I got more experienced, I moved to Omega because of the history and quality. Along the way I discovered a few other brands. Longines is one I'm getting acquainted with a little at a time. There's a couple JLC's I've done some research on also. Hamilton is such a great company that takes you back to the days that "Made in America" really meant something, and there's so much great information out there that a few of our members have published. I've always respected Vacheron Constantin & IWC and since my watchma
