My restored Hamilton Pacer
Hello all!I recently acquired a Hamilton Pacer. It wasnt running and in very rough shape. Here is the "before"Photo Jan 12, 8 14 31 PM.jpgIf anything, it looked worse in person.I was going to send it to Rene Rondeau but he isnt taking work right now so I reached out to Hamilton expert Dan Keefe of the Hamilton Chronicles and he suggested Richard Awiza. Richard is very friendly and helpful over emai. We agreed on the following workRebuild movement including new contact wiresNew crystal Refinish dialRefinish handsPolish bezel and caseFor this, he quoted $300 which i thought was VERY reasonable, bordering on cheap! :)I got it back today. it is running great and Richard threw in a vintage JB Champion croc grain band for FREE!Check this out:Photo Jan 12, 7 54 14 PM.jpgPhoto Jan 12, 8 21 01 PM.jpgIt came out better then I could've hoped.
