Good day all!So I borrowed my uncle's PP 5711 Blue Dial nautilus.My friend noticed I wasn't wearing one of my usual watches and asked me about it.He then asked me how much it costs, and was surprised when he learned it was a SS watch, at that price.He didn't deny how beautiful it is of course. Was just surprised one wouldn't go for a full gold or WG Rolex at that price range - especially since there really aren't any complications on it.He then asked me what is so special about this watch ?I am curious how you guys would have answered this question! :)

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. Mods please relocate if necessary.The other day I bought a 16710 from a private party here in the SF Bay Area. For the past 18 years he assumed that he had the correct warranty papers for the watch but it turns out he didn't. He bought a 1997 16710 in 2000 at Fourtane Jewelers in Carmel Ca but the jeweler gave him Rolex paperwork for a 16700. I'd like to reunite the warranty card with the owner of the 16700 if possible and I'd be happy to mail it to the owner free of charge. Rolex Submariner 14060 ¡°P¡± Serial PRICE CHECK
I already own a 16610 Sub Date and looking to add a no date Submariner. I came across a Submariner 14060 “P” serial two liner. It’s for the head only. No matter, because I wanted to use Everest straps anyways. History is unknown. Service is unknown. No box or paperwork. I’d say the case is a 6-7 shape and insert has a few marks. Asking is 3,800, but I think that’s way too high. Am I wrong? Gut says walk away unless the price is in the 2K range.
