Audemars Piguet 67449BC/Y/1186BC/03 wrist watches news:
Several years back, an elderly lady gave me this gold Movado that had been her husbands. He had been a doctor, and as she told it a grateful patient had given it to him as a gift (his name is inscribed on the back). I've had no luck finding out anything about it, even after happening on a Movado store in Las Vegas while I was wearing it.I'd like to know more about when it was made and the style if anyone could help. I'd guess that it was made sometime between 1950 and 1980.
I'm heading to Clearwater Florida for some fun in the sun in a few weeks, and I've been looking for an inexpensive beater with some bright colors to take along on the trip during which I'll be doing some inshore fishing. A few days ago I ran across this new Invicta Grand Diver model called the Yacht Timer. I comes in Orange, Blue, Brown, and Yellow dials, which is the one I ordered last night. The dial has a cool wave motif very similar to an Omega SMP. I really like the shape of the hands all of which are lumed, and the raised Arabic numerals. It also has an alarm feature, which should come in handy while traveling. As some remember from this thread: Tag Heuer Carrera OpinionsI ordered this Tag Heuer Carrera, that will be here in christmas time...I just gave an advance deposit, in order to have the watch reserved, and pay in full for it once it's in my hands...BUT today in the morning I received a call from my AD, telling me that they have received from another branch in other city this one:Omega 300M Chronodiver 213.30.42.40.01.001And they have it right now, and if I don't have the money, they can reserve it for me until I can pay for it...The question is: WHAT WILL YOU DO??? Tag or Omega, as I don't want to buy both, but both are screaming to be part of the collectionboth are very similar in movement, based in the Valjoux 7750...Of course I will have to add $360 for the Omega, but let's hear what you think, anyway I have the Blue Bond, so by now, I'm more decided in left the decision as is, and wait for the Tag to arrive, but let's hear you again DISCLAIMER: Pictures from the web, property of t
Which model do you guys prefer and why? The complications on either model aren't exceedingly useful in the modern world so I assume the choice comes down to aesthetics and perceived collectibility. In fact, the legibility of the 5575 is such that it's probably an impractical watch in most circumstances. I'm interested to hear people's thoughts on this and their rationale.
for me here's the change:before: Daytona 500 white, sd43after: Daytona, Pepsi No plan to sell my BLNR, Hulk or D-Blue, they are all long long term keepers, meanwhile find no place for the Sd 43
