Help identifying old Movado
Several years back, an elderly lady gave me this gold Movado that had been her husbands. He had been a doctor, and as she told it a grateful patient had given it to him as a gift (his name is inscribed on the back). I've had no luck finding out anything about it, even after happening on a Movado store in Las Vegas while I was wearing it.I'd like to know more about when it was made and the style if anyone could help. I'd guess that it was made sometime between 1950 and 1980.

I'm heading to Clearwater Florida for some fun in the sun in a few weeks, and I've been looking for an inexpensive beater with some bright colors to take along on the trip during which I'll be doing some inshore fishing. My AD moved my floor
As some remember from this thread: Tag Heuer Carrera OpinionsI ordered this Tag Heuer Carrera, that will be here in christmas time...I just gave an advance deposit, in order to have the watch reserved, and pay in full for it once it's in my hands...BUT today in the morning I received a call from my AD, telling me that they have received from another branch in other city this one:Omega 300M Chronodiver 213.30.42.40.01.001And they have it right now, and if I don't have the money, they can reserve it for me until I can pay for it...The question is: WHAT WILL YOU DO??? 5575 vs 5975
Which model do you guys prefer and why? The complications on either model aren't exceedingly useful in the modern world so I assume the choice comes down to aesthetics and perceived collectibility. In fact, the legibility of the 5575 is such that it's probably an impractical watch in most circumstances. I'm interested to hear people's thoughts on this and their rationale.
