Invicta 16023 wrist watches news:
25 Long years of waiting, Porsche Design has decided to present us with their second diver's watch, the diver of 6780 P. You're thinking probably that's too long for a second time shows; In addition, these watchmakers know not to precipitate a good is, you best believe that the diver of 6780 P will be a hell of a watch.
I mostly hang out in the Bulova/Accutron forum but I hope you will allow me to come here to pick your brains a bit. I went to an estate auction this AM and there must have been 1500 watches for sale, mostly junk. They were selling them by the box and I bought a box to get a Railroad Approved Accutron. There were some other Bulovas in the box as well as some Timexes, some Walthams, a Gruen, a Wittnauer, a Hamilton, a Croton etc but here's the one I'm wondering about. This illinois doesn't run and won't set, the crown can be wound off of it. Is it a escapee from the junk bin to which it should be returned or is it a candidate for resurrection. Any information will be appreciated.
First off, I wanted to thank Alfred (member: FNFZ4) for a great transaction. I've been looking to buy this POC for over a year and was thrilled with the price & speed in which Alfred was able to get the exact POC I was looking for. I've bought numerous watches over the years from multiple sources; I can say without hesitation that Alfred is now my 'Go To Guy'...so much so that I'm already thinking of buying another watch (Ladies Speedmaster) for my wife via Alfred. If you're looking for the BEST price and unbeatable service, look no further than Alfred. Thanks again! Now onto the watch & brief history. For those that don't know, I'm a HUGE Omega Chrono fan...my SMP Chrono was the watch I feel in love w/ as a teenager and was my first 'real watch' purchase years ago. I use to be strictly an 'Omega Guy', but after buying a SD4000 about 5 years ago I started to really fall for Rolex too. After numerous Subs (16610's, LVs), SD/DSSD and most recently my beloved Sub-C, there's
I saw this Omega model on ebay and was wondering if anyone has this watch and could give some feedback. Apparently, it's a rare model as I haven't seen it anywhere else. Thanks!.ebay/itm/Omega-Seamas...ht_1564wt_1037
Hey guys, I've been curious lately about the value of Pateks. I'm pretty solid when it come to the value of new/used Rolex watches now but don't have much understanding with other brands. Are there certain models that go over MSRP day one like the SS Daytonas? (Not including super rare type pieces like SkyMoon) Would I be better off buying NIB Patek grey market, or is it less expensive buying from AD? Or is it a model specific situation such as the Blue DSSD/Stainless Daytona/BLNR.Any input would be great thanks guys!
