We know that smartwatches are definitely an in thing (and if you don't, here are some of our articles on the topic), and of course Swiss-made watches are something we're all keenly aware of. To-date though, those have been mutually exclusive descriptors. And that makes sense, as smartwatches are generally full of radios and other bits of silicon - not exactly conducive to something mechanical. Though, the Crossbow watch by Hyetis will change that by offering what the producers believe to be the best of both worlds.Arny Kapshitzer and his company, Hyetis, are setting out to change that with their Crossbow Watch - and below we have an exclusive interview with him about Hyetis. While it would be cool to think about a battery getting recharged by a spinning rotor (and those do exist), this is a much more conventional sort of application (if I could call it that). For the Swiss-made part of the watch, Hyetis is planning to utilize a Swiss automatic mechanical movement (the ETA 2836-based HY
Hello all,I'm really excited that I stumbled upon this watch form! It is great to have a place where watch lovers can get other's thoughts and opinions.I have been a watch lover for several years now, and am finally ready to buy my first nice watch.I'm looking at the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 45.5mm, all black dial, and brushed stainless steel strap.I'm just starting to work on where I purchase the watch from. I have read several of the threads on grey market vs authorized dealers.I wanted to see if anyone has purchased their watch or had friends that purchased a watch from PrestigeTime? They seem to be a reputable grey market dealer. They clearly point out that they are a grey market dealer, and the watches that you purchase do not come with a manufacturer warranty. They do however offer their own 3 year warranty.Has anyone had to deal with a grey market warranty in the past? What were your experiences like? How did that compare to working through the manufacturer warranty?Tha

Hello, I want to buy a new watch. I already own a IWC Big Pilot 5004 and a Panerai 312.I want to buy a diver and I narrowed it down to two watches because these two I can afford at the moment.1: Omega Seamster Planet Ocean Chrono black on steel or rubber bracelet (new 2015 model).2: Panerai sub 305 (2013 model complete with box and papers in very good condition).I am a Panerai lover but I also like to have different watches. I find it hard to decide because by heart I am not sure which one I like the most. The Omega ticks all the boxes, is a new watch and is a true tool diver. The 305 is one of my favourite Pams and is maybe more versatile with all kind of straps ect.I think I like the Pam better when looking at the dial, but overall the Omega has more to offer when looking at the price. I think the Omega is a very sharp offer. How do you look at it?Thanks.DSCF9929.jpgcomp_DSC_0393-01.jpgDSCF9929.jpgcomp_DSC_0393-01.jpg
