I'm looking into buying one of these, the one that has an inlaid piece of wood from the Calypso on the case back.I have seen prices online that range from $4,500 to $8,500, a large range...How much should I pay for one BNIB, I'm being offered one for $8,500 which I think it's pretty steep.Any input will be appreciated.Here's a picture of the watch:

WOW!THIS watch is just gorgeous!Boy, did it smile back at me!I was very close at buying it on the spot, but will wait until I see the DSSD in person.Here are some pics.What do you think, guys and gals? Does it look good on me?I just LOVE the domed sapphire crystal. And it's only AR coated on the INNER side! I also adore the swords hands and the Tricompax arrangement (3, 6 and 9) arrangement of the sub dials and the unobtrusive date at 6. The case profile is gorgeous, too!Very handsome watch, indeed!

Which would you take to Vegas?
Hello TRF! Let me start by saying I recognize BOTH of these watches will work perfectly for the vacation I'm about to take. That said, I've decided to take only one. So with that in mind I would like your thoughts about which to bring along on the journey....Before I tell you which 2 watches I'd like you pick of, let me tell you about the vacation. It's basically a few days in Vegas doing the usual touristy stuff, some casino time, and relaxing by the pool. No clubbing or elegant evenings out. Very low-key. Then headed to Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon for some outdoor adventure. It should be a great time and I am really looking forward to getting away.Now for your choices.......#1) Rolex Submariner date#2). Omega SeaMaster Planet Ocean in titaniumOnce again, there really isn't a wrong answer here. But I am on the fence deciding between the two but only want to bring one.
