Hello all!I am new to the vintage collecting and have chosen Hamilton to be my brand of choice. Oct 2011 is when I started collecting and have picked up 11 watches all from eBay. Now i have learned that eBay is a hit and miss type cite with this type of item. My goal is to build a nice collection of 20's-50's Mechanical Hamilton's. I don't want any with batteries, just wind-up. Half of the watches I have picked up were miss advertised and don't run. I would like to know where I can buy from. New Seamaster!!! WOOHOO!
Well folks. My wonderful wife gave me my dream watch for my Birthday. An Omega Seamaster 2221.80. Have wanted one of these since 1995. (I realize that was a different model [2541.80]but this is my Bond watch I have coveted for so long) Very excited to finally join the Omega Ranks. Beautiful!Taken with Phone camera. Will have to set up a photo shoot tomorrow.

By now I've read every opinion about this watch and heard all the griping about the 30m water resistance. This didn't concern me. Its the aesthetics and the size that drove my decision. That and a trusted seller offered it up full kit, AD purchase at 31% off retail...you do the math. I would not have walked into an AD store and paid the $7300 +tax they were asking.Yes I understand the whole History of Panerai and the legacy as a dive watch. And I understand how and why the Paneristi loyalists are upset by this watch. But they aren't the ones wearing it and because of them and the markets general negative opinion, I was able to buy this watch for hundreds less than a SubC.I have a Rolex SeaDweller 116600 so I don't need another dive watch. Frankly IMHO, the SD is one of the best pieces Rolex ever made.So back to the Pam 676. I was looking to fill a hole in my small collection with a dressy-ish/sporty-ish watch. that didn't look like I was wearing a compass on my wrist.SO...what I want t
