- This watch is a beauty. Very impressive on the internet picture but more so in hand. Needed to be sized for my husband; he is ud to wear it and happy with its features and appearance. Nice weight to it, feels pricey.

Omega Omega 18977 wrist watches news:
Though I try to?analyze watches from a purely objective standpoint, La Mon¨¦gasque from Roger Dubuis made me consider the peculiar way that my perception of a watch can be partially influenced by the character of the person?wearing that watch. On the wrong individual, this watch in particular could be a disaster ¨C a predictable paean to conspicuous consumption. But on the right person, perhaps someone driven by unique personal tastes that run against the status quo, La Mon¨¦gasque would warrant a closer, but still critical look, that would reveal an unexpected amount of technical substance within. Granted, it sounds like expensive deep house, the type?you would hear at 2:00 a.m. while somewhat conscious in a booth at?Les Caves du Roy.Normally, this is an indication that a brand is much more about flash than substance, but
Let's see the May acquisitions right here.38 for April sounds about right. Mark made the hunting really easy. I mean seriously, staking the goat in front of the tree hardly makes for a good hunt.Lets focus our efforts this month on rescuing poor abused and super cheap finds from the swamp.
Hi there,I just returned from visiting my fianc¨¦e's relatives in France, and was presented with what I assume is a vintage Hamilton from one of her relatives. It's a very nice watch, however it does have several issues:1. I don't know what model it is, or the year in which it was made. The reverse reads "HAMILTON Water-Resistant Anti-Magnetic 10k Goldfilled Bezel (star) Stainless Back Adjusted." See photo of the face, here:2. The glass (crystal?) on the front has a slight crack, and I'd like to get it replaced - is this possible?3. After winding, it keeps the time accurately for about two hours and then stops working. Is this something that a good watch repair shop can fix? I live in NYC, so there are a lot around here...4. The band is some sort of stainless steel elastic which is very good at trapping the hairs on my arm. Does anyone have any recommendations for a stylish-but-historically-accurate band I could replace it with? Specifically I'd like something from the 40s, but me and m
What watch size do you feel most comfortable with?I have several larger size watches, for me 40mm is large. However, with my rather thin wrists, I keep coming back to 35mm;IMG_2618.jpgIMG_2412.jpg
