Omega Omega 863 wrist watches news:
Welcome back to an watches-dealer original series, where we discuss important stores that sell watches all over the world. Each store we profile has an interesting story to tell about where they operate and who they sell to. Whether you buy watches from brick-and-mortar retailers or prefer to buy watches online, these are the stores that help shape our watch culture around the globe. There is a long list of stores to cover, but if there is a retail location in your favorite city that we simply can¡¯t miss, let us know in the comments below.Where to buy watches in Orlando, Florida? If your idea of an ideal watch store is one that is owned and operated by a practicing watchmaker and one that carries interesting watch brands, then be sure to stop by Orlando Watch Co. in central Florida the next time vacation or business brings you to the land of Mickey Mouse and Harry Potter (although I don't know that there is an iconic Harry Potter watch - yet).Just outside Orlando itself, you will find W
Stopped by an inside yard sale (HUH??) and found these two watches. Don't know if they're worth anything, but for $3.00 for both (!), I figured I had nothing to lose. One is a (What I presume to be) mens Bulova. The dial is damaged, but the blue hands are iintriguing. It runs fast, gaining about 4 minutes in an hour. I like the look of this watch. The other one is a ladies Gruen Precision and this one keep very good time, having only gained a minute since I set it nearly 24 hours ago. My wife likes this one. However, the band is very small and won't even fit over my wrist. Don't know if they even makes bands for this type of watch anymre.Anyone know the year/era these are from? I assume the Bulova is from @ the 1930's, no?
I put this strap on my wifes Speedmaster for a while ago.It was maybe a little too white so now we will try this instead. Not bad IMHO.
Hi All -I¡¯ve been looking very seriously at a pre-owned GMT II LN as my first Rolex. Drove past a random AD today, stopped in and they had a new GMT LN and also a Submariner No Date, both fully stickered. Fell in love with the Sub No Date!! Love the simplicity and symmetry of it. My mind is changed! Im new to Rolex (though not new to watches) but I typically try buy pre-owned. This AD was adamant no discounts and I¡¯ll have to eat the tax. I don¡¯t like taking the depreciation hit but that said just browsing the ¡®for sale¡¯ listings it doesn¡¯t seem like I¡¯ll save a huge amount going pre-owned these days (assuming pre-owned watch is still under warranty). So, for the first time go ahead and buy a new watch? Or, wait and ty snag pre-owned! Thanks for your thoughts!
You all asked for pics on Christmas after she opened her gift!!The look on my wife¡¯s face was priceless this morning when we opened our gifts. As you can see she had a puzzled kind of ¡°no you didn¡¯t.... yes you did¡± look on her face. She had no idea it was coming & that made it awesome!! Her first Rolex 114200. Removed 3 links & it¡¯s on her wrist!!!Merry Christmas TRF from my family to yours!
