IWC IW5004-01 wrist watches news:
Have you ever caught yourself staying up way, way too late, looking at vintage watches online and wishing they would make a return to the market? I know I have – and a long time before my job made it acceptable. Well if you’re part of that club, there’s good news on the way from TAG Heuer. 1 OF 17 Following a conversation with Jeff Stein at On The Dash – a must read for vintage Heuer fans – TAG Heuer has announced a campaign asking the public which vintage Autavia chronograph they want to see re-launched in 2017. A racer’s watch, developed in the 1960s, it’s one of the Heuer's “Big Three,” along with the Carrera and the Monaco, and both reference 2446 and reference 3646 have been gaining momentum in the secondhand market. Born in 1962, the Autavia Chronograph is named after a series of “Automobile” and “Aviation” dashboard timekeepers launched 30 years prior. Made for ra
Just purchased this watch (when it comes in I'll post some pics) the watch is listed to have luminova. from the pic of the luminove looks nice. But I have a question the dial reads as I guess the brand "TimeIn" as it's typed. searched the net and nadda.I'm guessing it's a chinese brand, of course it is. anyway it has the seagull ST-19 with the colume gear, much like the old Venus 175.thoughts on the ST-19:Also this "TimeIn" brand?
Started reading about the Tudor heritage chrono and was surprised it was dupraz module attached to a base ETA movement - got me interested and started looking around the web for more information. Anyway, just to share this link from ABTW. .ablogtowatch/inside-d...vement-module/As we know, AP ROOs have attached DD chrono modules as well, and I'm first in line if they ever come up with an integrated chrono movement (whether in the ROC or ROO line.) have a good weekend!
Panerai's with sweep second hands are quite unusual with the brand. Normally when Panerai's show seconds it is a subdial. I noticed recently that the 63 has sweep seconds that work full time. I've seen some of the chronographs look like they might have sweep seconds but unless you examine them up close it is hard to tell.Other than the 63 and chronographs are there any Panerai's that have sweep second hands? Please respond if you know of any and I would love to see any pictures. Thanks much.
Has anyone bought a Rolex from Italy and brought it back to the US?I was just wondering if the watch needs to be declared when you get back and how much taxes you have to pay for so I can calculate if it's worth buying a watch from Italy.
