- I was looking for a new watch to wear everyday, and I found this one which has everything that I like, a large dial, glow in the dark numerals and of course, the swiss cross logo. I've purchased other watches before that were more sporty, which I also love that this one is too but also it looks right with business attire.

B.R.M GP44-111 wrist watches news:
By far most watch reviews you will find today are provided by dedicated watch enthusiasts who purchase, then subsequently post images and reviews of the watches they purchase online. Usually these reviews are placed on forums or dedicated user submission websites. Then you have the professional reviews that you will find in watch magazines. More often than not, these reviews are of very expensive watches, and really don't cover enough of what most people want to know. For example, watch reviews in WatchTime magazine cover a reviewed watch's movement at very great lengths. Of course the movement of a watch is important to me, but I am more interested in whether it works well, than four paragraphs explaining how some new gear arrangement allows the chronograph function to work in a slightly more efficient manner. One of the only places online you can view any volume of watch review is Watch Report.Watch makers should know that watches are not merely jewelry to most buyers. People don't j
The reference 3448 has always been one of my favorite vintage references. There is something so refreshing about the razor sharps lugs (when the case hasn't been polished) and the simple dial layout with. So when I heard about a very special 3448 coming up at Sotheby's, I had to go see it in person. What you are about to see is something you have likely never encountered before – a Patek Philippe reference 3448 in white gold, with a later yellow-gold reference 3450 case as a back up. Say hello to a convertible Patek Philippe. 1 OF 5 This reference 3448 white gold is accompanied by an entirely different case, dial, hand-set, and crown ¨C all in yellow gold. That's right, you read that correctly. This watch, coming up for auction at Sotheby's in New York tomorrow, was born a white-gold 3448 in 1966 and was purchased by the original owner in 1967. Then later in 1986, the owner decided that he would really like a yellow gold version, so he wrote to P
WG or YG Sky D or YG YM2?Slowly Ive come to the realization that I like durable watches. While the Jumbo is a classic I just don't wear it enough. I figure I will keep one AP (44mm RG ROO) and one PP (Nautilus Chrono) in the collection and flip two APs for another Rolex. My signature has details of what is in my current collection. Any opinions appreciated...
My wife's 9 month old DJ is losing 30 seconds a day. I took it to the NYC RSC and was delivered a complete shock. They told me the watch was damaged and couldn't be regulated. I would need to pay $400 for the service (discounted from $500+ because it is under warranty) plus another $130 for a new crown. This watch was NOT banged or dropped. My wife doesn't partake in activities or a lifestyle that would cause this. But RSC told me the evidence was there. One of the dots beneath the coronet on the crown was slightly flattened. Therefore, the crown was damaged and so was the timing mechanism. I can't tell you how upset I am. Has anyone had a similar experience with RSC? What did you do? Were you able to get Rolex to fix it without an astronomical cost.?Rolex touts themselves makers of these durable, tough-as-nails watches, yet this doesn't seem to be the case. It seems RSC was looking for a loophole and found one. Picture attached, although not the best quality. Plus, this flattened dot
