One of the complications I enjoy most is the Big Date, which became widely available in quartz about three years ago. From memory, the first quartz version was developed by Ronda and used in an Invicta.I've always lusted after a mechanical version of the Big Date. A few months ago any 5711 was going quickly from the uk Grey's at prices increasingly, more and more over retailNow, in the shopping frenzy season, I'm wondering if they're still hanging about with the usual uk greys etc because the prices are just too high now?32750 for a ?19000 (new rrp) blue ... ?27500 for a white...?14,000 over retail!!! Wow...
