B.R.M B.R.M 22349 wrist watches news:
England and Scotland certainly had their fair share of global attention over the past few weeks, as the world anxiously followed?Scotland voting about its possible independence from the United Kingdom. With that said, a collaboration of a much different scale?has been in the making as well: English?watch company Bremont has teamed up with renowned blended Scottish whisky Chivas Regal to create a new, "Chivas 12 Made for Gentlemen by Bremont limited edition gift tin." Incorporating the?designs?and signatures?of?Bremont's founding brothers, Nick and Giles English,?this co-operation brings us a new?example of a?luxury watch brand's "blending" with a higher-end?spirits maker ¨C not unlike that between Hublot and Johnnie Walker. This seemingly obvious?partnership is not without its excessive details, however. What brought?Bremont and Chivas into this venture is?an annual series of collaborations?between Chivas and British craftsmen, called "Chivas Made for Gentlemen" ¨C which does make one won
Hello all,It¡¯s been awhile since I have swung through. Been busy for the last few months but things are starting to let up a bit so I thought I would drop in and let everyone know what horological thoughts have been crossing my mind as of late. A little bit after Christmas I had a bit of a horologically existential moment, as Nietzche put it, watches were ¡°dead¡± to me. Nevertheless after some thought I discovered that a lot of my discontent was due in part to my collections¡¯ obvious lack of direction. So, I have decided, with much consideration, that I am going to focus my collecting on modern and vintage JLC. And this means that I will be selling off the majority of my current collection to fund this new endeavor. JLC to me represents everything I love about watches: creativity, precision, artist vision, fine craftsmanship, etc. Simply put, JLC just sings to me unlike any other manufacture and am looking forward to perusing my passion for these watches.Kind regards,jdp87
Hello Everyone,Looking for some thoughts and advise. I'm thinking of buying my first AP and wanted your thoughts between the two listed above. I currently have a few Rolexes, JLC, IWC and Panerai. I prefer a more casual everyday watch that is also rugged. I'm leaning towards the Diver, but there's something special about the 15400. I'm going to try both on tomorrow but I'd like to hear from the AP group as well. Pics welcome. Thanks in advance.
New addition to my collection. For me the Holy Grail. I waited for them very, very long time. My lifelong dream.
