Trying to replace strap
Hey, I've had my Hamilton Khaki King Automatic (H64455533) since the end of December '08. I've worn the watch everyday up until about two weeks ago because of the odor that is coming off the watch strap. I've tried saddle soap, distilled vinegar, toothpaste, and baking soda to get the smell out but now the watch just smells like a combination of all those ingredients...So I have decided to change the strap out. Which is where I run into the problem:I want the same band as on the H64455133 (the metal strap version, exact same watch as far as I can see.) I found the strap ( watchbands/ProductInf...id,,H605644104 ) but notice that it's missing the ends that would connect to the lugs on the watch to the strap. Can this strap work with the watch I have?How will it connect?

Isn't it really quartz watches that are now obsolite?
It occurred to me, while using my cell phone to set my mechanical watch, that wearing a quartz watch while carrying a cell phone seems sillier than a mechanical one! I mean, isn't that the ultimate in redundancy? I wear a mechanical watch to tell time, of course, but also because of my appreciation for the mechanical marvel that it is. If I wear a quartz watch, the "marvel" is no more, all that is left, is the timewhich I'm carrying on my phone anyway. ....just Sunday afternoon "food for thought"

AP ROC - Questions...
...I tried on a blue dial AP ROC this weekend and I have to say it wore alot bigger then the normal AP RO (that I think is too small) so the AP ROC could be an option for me, sporty yet elegant...I also found a new model of dial (I think) and it is a masterpiece according to me...Not my pic...So the questions:1: I see variation of the size, some say 39mm and others say 40mm what is correct are there different sizes availible?2: Have the AP ROC been updated recently?3: Do you swim with your AP ROC (not scuba dive but normal swiming in pools and lakes etc...4 Is the braclet bigger/thicker on the AP ROC the the AP ROThe Panda that I like seem to be of much higher pre-loved prices, is it only because the dial is new or any other reasons?/Martin

5164 Aquanaut vs 15202 AP Jumbo
I have an option of trading my 5167 for an AP Jumbo (plus a bit of cash). But arriving in a few weeks is a 5164 that I have first dibs on (and have been waiting for). Trade the 5167 for the Jumbo or the 5164?I own a 5711 so perhaps the jumbo will be doubling up. And have owned a 15400 in the past and while I appreciated the craftsmanship I didn't love it (too blingy and large). In fact the only AP I'm interested in is the Jumbo. The 5167 I've warmed too considerably after a slow start but I also like the slightly larger dimensions and the complication of the 5164.Thanks!
