Baume & Mercier MOA10032 wrist watches news:
The fourth edition of the biennial Only Watch Charity Auction was held at the Hotel Hermitage in Monaco on September 23, in the presence of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. The sale brought an outstanding €4,563,000, doubling the 2009 results. The auction room was full and the sale generated intense internet and telephone bidding from around the world. Ronnie Wood from the Rolling Stones attended to show his support for the cause. Find complete results and images of the top five lots inside. SoA weird thing happened today. I was trying to make my own sonic cleaner by taping a Gillette razor to a container with Simple Green. Anyway, the project works but it took the letters off of the broken watch I was practicing on. So we're not going to talk about it! In a mad dash to find a watch to practice on I kept trying to find the ugliest watch I own. It is this awful old Bennie that I got with another watch. I think the whole package was 13 dollars. So with all do to respect to one of my favorite American/Swiss brands (Benrus) I hated this watch and didn't even bother keeping it with my other watches. Here is how ugly it is.I took it out of its hidden spot (out of my sight), and started taking it apart and on the back it said "Self Winding" and I was shockedI always thought it was a manual wind. I thought someone just mix matched a back with the other parts. Well, I pry the lid off and the movement is about as perfect as I could have ever anticipated. 25 jewels and looks to be in
I was hoping that you guys may know where I can buy the stainless steel band (H605.326.100) for the Jazzmaster Chrono. I was able to get a fantastic deal on the watch but it had the light tan leather band, which is nice, but I would like the stainless also. The only website I've been able to find requires you request a price from them - which I will do. However, I was hoping maybe someone has one to sell or can point me in the appropriate direction to obtain one. Thanks!
Hi, just bought these 2 beauties today 1st up is this Royce 300m Diver. It is in well worn condition, just how I like 'em!Measures 46mm inc crown, so quite a big watch, but wears smaller I think. I really love the hands on this and the funky dial with typical 70's markers2nd is this lovely Dugena chrono. This one measures 40mm inc crown and appears to have a Jenny case as it is marked with "Caribbean 200".If anyone has any details regarding either of these, it would be appreciated.Don't worry Ulack, I have another incoming over the weekend also CheersMark
this is about the only gold watch ive ever been interested in.....
