Hublot 1810.1 wrist watches news:
Hi to all the members here. I am relatively new to this forum but not new to Rolex. I currently own a Z series 16710(coke), Z series 116713LN, K series 16610, T series 16220. My wife a D series 178271 and a T series 79174.I have a question that maybe some of you can help me out with.I brought my Z series 16710 over to Rolex Hong Kong for servicing today, to get a replacement crystal(large scratch and chips), case buffing and and early servicing. Purchased the watch in Sept 2006.It came with the Red and Black bezel. I inquired to the service lady about changing the bezel to the all black. She said they would not do it because the serial number indicates that this is a Red/Black combo and not the all black, therefore they could not do it because the watch would now be a different part number. She told me my watch was a part number 16710 T ST.....I know many of you that have a 16710 have changed to an all black bezel. My question is was this done at a Rolex service center or an AD? Where
Omega's website lists the following:SpMP Moonwatch Ref: 3570.50 ...............WR = 50 metersSpMP Sapphire Sandwich Ref: 3573.50 .....WR = 50 metersSpMP Moonphase Ref: 3576.50 ...............WR = 30 metersI know the first two were upgraded from 30 meters. Didn't Omega do the same for the Moonphase, also, or did Omega just goof on their site information?
I just received my first Seiko, The "blue" sawtooth SHC057 last night and I'm stoked. This thing is gorgeous! The blue dial is stunning, although I anticipated the wave pattern would be a little more prominent in normal light. The case size is about 48mm, 50mm w/ crown. 12mm thickness. Looks like it will have a low profile on the wrist. Hardlex crystal. The bracelet is about 20mm wide, and rather thin but solid w/ solid end links. Push button dual deployment w/ safety clasp and wet suit extention. The bezel is smooth w/ no looseness. Screw down caseback and crown. 7n36 quartz movement. Day, date. It says battery life indicator on features, but I'll be ****ed if I can figure that one out. The lume is the brightest and longest lasting I've ever seen, incredible! I'll be sure to post wrist shots tomorrow once I size it. Now I just need me an OM!
I want to pick up a leather strap/deployment buckle for a ladies aqua terra (34mm). Not sure if Omega sells these individually? If someone has a model number that would be great. Also, would like to hear about any good aftermarket straps/buckles that people are using. My wife loves the bracelet but a white leather strap will be a nice option for her as well:
Happy to let fellow members of this forum know that a little research and persistence from my side and a whole lot of luck has paid off ,got my SS sky dweller with a blue dial from the ad at list! All I did was call up the dealers all over the country and used a little influence and here it is! Paid for it in advance today ,will be on my wrist in a weeks time as I have to go to Mumbai to collect it ! I consider my self lucky a SS Daytona C in white got it in 3 months and the SS Sky D in a matter of 2 months ...Sorry about the poor quality of the pictures sent to me by the sales guy but will post better ones once on my wrist ... along side my Daytona C Hope fully this completes my quest ....
