Are 'big' watches a fad? And for our purposes, we'll say "big" is 44mm or larger. Are these a fad, or a change in our time? Case size has continued to grow, and you've got far more watches in the 44-50 size than ever before..So, are they a fad that'll go the way of leisure suits & bell bottoms or are they here to stay? If you think they're a fad, when does a fad become a style? 2 years, 5 years, 10 years, 50 years??? What do ya' think?

Hi folks,I've seen a a quartz Royal Oak two tone for €2850,- which to me is affordable.However I'm not too sure about the state of this watch (no box & papers either..), it seems to be a bit over polished at the bezel..juwelierburger/NL/web...derBy=&sortBy=I know the seller and I live rather close this store so I'll check the watch out this week.

short hour hand on AT GMT
Relatively new to the Omega forum on TRF! Anybody has a good explanation as to why the hour hand is so short on the AT GMT 43mm? .omegawatches/collecti...23110432203001This is especially obvious when you look at the AT Annual Calendar hour hand which is better fitted to the dial (43mm) and all the other current AT.omegawatches/collecti...23110432203002My guess is because of the 24 hour hand, but still, it seems odd.

Has anyone noticed on the Patek Philippe website, that the Museum Preview volumes are available for download in PDF without purchase? Yesterday I was at an AD and the manager showed us a copy and I was just now searching and came across the downloads for them. Very cool stuff.
