Baume & Mercier MV045219 wrist watches news:
Hi all. I am a first time poster and I just picked up a used Constellation that I am having trouble setting the date on. I've attached a photo of watch. I went to Omega's site and downloaded their generic manual which helped me get the day (the left subdial) working correctly. It is turning over the day around midnight like it is supposed to. However the date (right subdial) is changing over around noon rather than around midnight. The watch did not come with its specific manual so I'm in the dark as to how to get the date to turn over at night rather than in the day. Any assistance that can be provided will be very appreciated.Thanks.A.
Has anyoe heard about this watch, it is a ladys caliber oly 25mm. Would you advice getting it ? Or are lady' watches simply not a good collection as man's watches are ?Gove me your feedback on the movement, please !!!
For a few weeks I've been helping my brother-in-law purchase a titanium Schumi and we finally received it last week. This past weekend I had the chance to actually see this piece in person and WOW. I've always been a fan of the photos I've seen online and in the different forums, but seeing it in the flesh was just amazing. Hands down the Schumi line is my favorite ROO ever. The details on this thing are just perfect... the hex screws, oversized chrono pushers, red date, razor hands, engravings on the plots, etc... just love everything about this watch, except the hefty price tag. My favorite one is the rose gold version followed by the titanium one. So sad this beauty is not mine!!!Here are some photos I took while I enjoyed the piece for a few minutes.
Like many here I panicked when I heard that AP was phasing out forged carbon in favor of ceramic, so I put my order in figuring that this was my last chance to score my dream diver.Well, as we all know, it was a false alarm, but even so, I knew that this was a watch that would go the distance in my collection, so I stayed the course, and boy am I glad that I did...Sigh...It wears like a dream......and if I'm being honest here, it's a completely different beast than the stainless steel diver. Indeed, they could both live quite happily with one another in the same collection. Alas, I doubt I'll be able to do just that, given my finances, however if I could, you can bet that I would. Here's a parting shot with another famous yellow diver:Love it!!!Regards,AdamPS - Apologies for the crappy office lighting and iPhone photos.
Lately, have been alternating between d-blue and BB Bronze (16710 has been feeling too small). Needed something to help scratch the more traditional black dial diver but with better “wrist presence” itch
