Baume & Mercier M0A08849 wrist watches news:
I have just come across Watch-U-Want online but am finding their prices a little hard to believe. Anyone know their reputation? How do they price new Panerai watches about 25% less than the AD? Can anyone point me to some independent means of determining if a dealer is legit and trustworthy? Thanks for any help...
I got word on February 18th that my G. Gerlach Otago was on it's way from Poland, my ancestral homeland. It arrived today and I must say I'm very impressed. Excellent detail for such a very reasonably priced timepiece. Here are the specifications and a few pictures.Technical details:42¡Á50 mm case, Stainless steel 316L.Sapphire crystal, anti-reflection coating.Screw crown. 20ATM Water Resistance.Rotating bezel.SeaGull ST-25 movement.Leather strap. Two colors versions
Have a few prestige auto chrono'sSpeedy, Carrera, Longines master and usually I leave the big second hand pointer stationary (the large seconds pointer that moves around when you push the chrono button). Is it beneficial to the watch to run the chrono movement / functionsometimes or perhaps all the time? Any advice appreciated
Hi folks,I will be in NY 20-24th May. Would love to meet and greet any fellow TRF-ers around during this time. Who would like to hook up for some conversation, drinks/food, or both, during this time?PM contact details. Would be cool to meet up! Greetings, D
I¡¯m currently looking at two seadwellers for sale, model 16600. Both are A serial numbers, one is a Swiss only dial and one is a Swiss made dial. I just want to be sure that the inserts are original on both. The Swiss only Dial has a pointed 4 insert, which is different than all A-serial pieces I have seen. They all seem to come with a flat 4 insert, which is the insert that is on the Swiss made piece for sale. I prefer the Swiss only watch because it is a complete set, but I¡¯m concerned that it may be a service insert. Sorry I can¡¯t post any pictures as both watches are currently for sale and I don¡¯t want to violate the sellers in any way. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
