GMTII-C at Disneyworld!
Hello Friends.I zipped down to see Sarah last weekend and we had a nice day at Hollywood Studios and Epcot Center. The weather was a bit on the cool side, but nothing we couldn't handle.I must say, the GMTII-C is absolutely amazing to travel with. Even when I have a short layover in Dallas, I advance the hour up and then again once I enter EST. It almost makes me feel like buying plane tickets just to use that function!BTW, I did pass my time on the plane listening to Jake's Watch Blog podcast which was very entertaining. Thanks, Jake.Sarah was wearing her YM, but it did not creep out from under her sleeve.Anyway, here are some pics....please enjoy. There is an internet archive tool that periodically crawls the web and stores copies of the pages it finds. This is their home page. The latest archive of the elginwatches.org was done in Jun 2011 and can be seen here. Most of the text can be recovered but some of the picture links don't show. As far as the database the SN by year page is present as is the grade summary list but the search page doen't work probably because the links to the database information were not captured or are not available from the original servers. The two databases were available for download from the PW_elgin Program link but it gives an error in the archive now. The names of the two files are elgin_grade_data and elgin_sn_data. I am hoping that someone on the forum was curious enough to download these files and have copies of them. I believe that they can be turned into a usable search tool again and since they were freely available on the original site it should be OK to use them for their original resear

Hi all,Just curious as to why there is a MSRP price at all watches?It's been my experience that the only watches that ADs attempt to sell at the MSRP are the Rolex ADs. Other than Rolex I have not seen any watch listed at the MSRP price. The dealers use it to advertise their GREAT sales price (i.e. 40% off MSRP!!!) but they never list them at the MSRP.Hummmmmmmm Mark
