The watches-dealer team has just returned from the 2014 edition of the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie watch trade show in Geneva - otherwise known as the SIHH. If you aren't already aware of what this show is about; it is one of a few major watch trade events each year where new products are debuted. SIHH is operated by the Richemont Group and a few other participating brands. There are about 16 brands that show there. The other major Swiss watch trade show is Baselworld that happens later in the year around March - and a lot more brands present there. SIHH is an important event and helps us understand what some of the major luxury brands are doing, and what their focus will be for this year and beyond.While we saw and photographed many new and amazing watches, there are a few that stood out as the top timepieces. Basel 2018 Timeline Refresher
So Basel starts Thursday 3/22 (although there may be a press day on Wed 3/21 at nights?).That's roughly 34 days from now.With a lot of companies, we will begin to see Pre-Basel introductions of new models.With Rolex, not so much.Maybe a few cryptic teasers.When will the information be available to the public?Will Rolex update its site first on 3/22 or will people who visit Basel have to post on our forum to let us know what models are new (even if they post pics weeks later)?

incoming 'settling' on 116520
had been on the hunt for 116508 full black dial for awhile, but this one happened to stumble by. had been eyeing this in parallel but was hoping to close on the YG version...so 'settled' for this instead VERY pleased with this piece.116508 will still be a goal down the line...but i'd say the SS white dial a damn good layover. (shout out to seller roadie1 - was a great pleasure to work with)
