I have a dial in search of a watch! I tried it on a 982 movement, and it didn't seem to want to fit. Is the 980 the same curvature, or would the dial be shaped differently to fit on it? I think it might be from the Medford.. looks a lot like the one listed in Shugart.Any ideas please? Thanks!Andrew
I want to put a black leather strap on this animal...its the 38mm, I forgot the lug size...nothing too expensive, because I'm still not a big fan of straps for daily wear; in fact I have it back on the bracelet and not on the zulu any more. However I want to give leather a try. Thanks
I did a quick search of the site and found a couple of mentions of this movement and it's basically a ETA with some modifcations? It sound like quite a nice movement and a watch with one has just come on to [the very top end] my buying radar and I would be quite interested on any opinions and experiences from any owners of watches with this beast ticking away in it.It represents quite big step up for me so any advice you can offer would be gratefully accepted. ThanksSteve
Hi, I've seen a new TAG Aquatimer (non chrono) with day/date and it's a calibre 'S' It's a really nice watch, although the bracelet and particuarly the clasp are a littel cheap IMHO Is this a good calibre of a low spec, entry level movement? I know their cal 17 is a good one and of course the cal 36 & 360's. Anyone?
