Baume & Mercier MOA08727 wrist watches news:
I got home late, too late for pictures but the box I had been waiting for was home to greet me. Man, I love this watch! Many have posted some great pics of it but this is the first time I saw one "up close and personal".The design is 100% Americana and I love it.Well it is off to work again this morning. Will try to post some better pics tonight. This was a quick shot from the point and shoot under flash.
Looking for instructions for a Sector 330 Chrono and yes,I have written Sector USA with no reply.I like the watch but the second hand does not reset to 12 and I am pretty sure it can be adjusted, just not sure how.Anyone?
Given that the ROO rubber clad (rose gold) is now discontinued, how do you think the residuals will fare? This has been an iconic AP, could they become a new vintage in years to come, or will they bomb now they are old news as more people seek out the 44mm?And if they do hold value well, would the watch of choice likely be the older or newer sale dial (newer being with gold rings)?
Visited AP boutique in Singapore yesterday and peruse the rather rare RO Skeleton 15305 and also the increasingly hard to find RO Jumbo 15202.Here are some snap shots to share : The RO Skeleton will be a great addition to watch collectors that like to peer at watch movements. It is however, IMO not that practical as a watch because it is kind of hard to decipher the time with a quick glance due to the hands kind of disappear amidst the multitude of components. As for the RO Jumbo, it's certainly a beautiful piece, and the black display which shows off the customized JLC 2121 movement is exquisite.
Any pointers?thanks
