Wow, 2013 is over and it’s been a fantastic year for worn&wound! We’ve more than tripled our readership, made various improvements to the site all around and, most importantly, acquired several new and extremely talented writers! We’ve kept true to our focus on news and reviews of affordable and well-designed wrist watches, while also expanding our coverage of watch culture as a whole, style and random curiosities that caught our eye.We also designed, manufactured and released several new (and great) American-made watch accessories, available in our store at shop.wornandwound. Sub's aluminum bezel prone to scratches?
Folks, need some help. Still deciding between the gmt master II & the Sub. I really like the ceramic bezel due to its scratch resistant features. With re: the new Sub's, is it more prone to nicks & scratches? I don't plan on doing construction nor basic yard work with my watch, but don't want to worry about this problem on a $5K watch. Thoughts?

Auto...vs. Wind Up....!
Greetings Everyone...I have been in this hobby a few years...now my likesseem to be evolving! I am finding that I am liking wind up watches more and more! I really do not know why.. perhaps it's due fact that I have a small collection of vintage Hamilton's and enjoy winding them daily....as well as my more modern Khaki Mechanical.It seems like the vast majority of new watches out there are Autos as most people prefer them, anyone else like wind ups more then auto's?BestBob

Or will the first item give me flexibility? Frustratingly I don¡¯t see to be able to find somewhere I can buy additional pins for the first tool.Thanks in advance for any help.
