Jaeger LeCoultre 186T770 The Related Reviews:
- I got this for the wife as a present. It's ""different"" ¨C and chunky and very gold. But it does look fashionably nice, and once sized, is an attractive watch. I've seen some of these fade over time, hope this one holds up.

- Very light. Clear easy to read display. Useful practical tool but stylish enough to wear to work or play.

Hello Watch Talk member,I just received my first ever vintage watch. It's a 1906 modified Omega skeleton converted to a wristwatch. I know it's not "original" but just fell it love with the way it looks. What I'm wondering is about getting the watch started. It has been explained to me that the older watches should never be wound too tightly. Of course, it's not running right now since I just got it out of the shipping box. It winds ("ratchets") very easily counterclockwise but there seems to be substantial resistance if I try to move the crown clockwise. I can tell that I only need to pull the knob out to set it, but am wondering what I need to do to get it running.I sent an email to the seller, but since it's late in the day, I may not hear back from him this evening. I would love to have this running and on my wrist tonight. Any recommendations regarding this watch from some of you old pro's would be very helpful for this newbie. Thanks very much!
