Jaeger LeCoultre Q2568402 wrist watches news:
I still don`t know which model and year, but I think in the incoming days I`ll receive a nice gift...Father of a kid which is my patient promised me that he will give me as a gift a Omega which he owns for some years, also as a gift from a friend.Since he`s not at all a watch fan(he don`t wear it),and since he learned that i`m a watch maniac....he said to me today- that Omega will be mine....I ill inform you about the story...and of course, post some pics here eventually.
Hey Everyone,Got the '08 Chronolog & pricelist today.. Very nice.Bad news is prices increased as expected for the '08 models. Good news is it's not much. For steel or steel / leather combos, the difference seems to be about 2-5.5% (most less than 5%), fairly reasonable, especially given the dollars position right now. Two tone models climbed a bit more, about 6.5 - 7% as would be expected given the increases in gold prices this year. Here's a quick snapshot of some of the models '08 prices (USD's). Well, I presumed it was on the outside of the watch when I was taking macro shots. But it's indeed in the inside. How could that have happened? I'm hoping it's not the crystal, but judging by all angles, I think it's a lint the dial. Should I bother and send it in? I really don't like getting my watch tampered with. It's visible if I focus on it. And now I do every time I look at the watch. I see myself just forgetting about in the future though.
I went to an AD today with the bona fide intention of purchasing a Sea Dweller, but they are just too small and do not have enough heft. I had seen so many impressive photos that I thought I would automatically wander forever into Rolex land.I really thought the Sea Dweller would have a more substantial appearance. They are good looking and well built I suppose, but niether of these had a comparable feel to my Omega 300 Chrono Diver. If anything, the experience convinced me that a Planet Ocean would be a better choice for me. The Sea Dweller and Sub, just had a generic feel like most every other watch. Each to his own I suppose. I just expected to be a bit more impressed with the Rolex and thought that trying one on would forever convince me. It was a bit of a let down. I was curious as to whether anyone else thinks the sub and Sea Dweller need to go up a size for the sake of gravitas. Price really was not a consideration and I was curious as to whether anyone else felt the sa
