Bedat & Co B728.082.109 wrist watches news:
I had the opportunity yesterday to see these new watches from Citizen called the signature series, I honestly thought the Campanola line was the only expensive watches they made. Well when I saw this I was surprise because one of the fit&finish and two the prices. I believe they start anyway from $1,000+ to right around $3,000 or so. But I can't really understand why someone would pay about the same price for one of those watches if you can get a Campanola for the same price? If I not mistaken I do believe they are Eco-Drive movements so there is a big advantage. I would say the new Signature Series is better than the standard Eco-Drive collection but not as good as the Campanola because unlike the Campanola there not hand made or assembled. Here's a pic of a Signature Piece.(P.S I apologize if this is not a Signature piece because I had hard time finding one so if anyone as a pic please post thanks)
Does anyone know how the sales of the new roos are doing? I wonder if the lack of ceramic bezel hurt or swayed AP enthusiasts to hold out.
Hello. I have a silver dial RO incoming and I was wondering if any of you gents could help me with the bracelet size. My wrist is a tad over 7 about 7.2. So my question is how many links will need to be removed from the original full bracelet? The seller is willing to size it for me which is a great help. FYI I have 2 links removed on a full Rolex oyster bracelet if that helps. Anyone out there with a similar wrist size can offer a suggestion that would be awesome!
How well do you guys think this watch will retain it's value? I assume production numbers are/will be quite limited and it will eventually be replaced by a RG version of 5990. I'm looking for a Patek on bracelet that isn't a steel Nautilus since I already have a 5711/1a and 5980/1a. Other option is the 5960/1a.
Earlier today, over a burger lunch, I get a call from an unidentified number. As it turns out, it was from a contact in an AD, who informed me that my 114060 Submariner had arrived. What Sub? was the first thing to come into my head. After all, I was desperately looking for one some weeks back, and after much frantic searching, had to resort to my grey dealer to source for one (and he did me a solid for just $5 above retail!). Anyway, I apparently left my name and number down on a wait list some 7 months back and it was now my turn. So I did what any, responsible, hot blooded male would have done...
