Bedat & Co Bedat & Co 4003 wrist watches news:
Hi, I finally took this watch to a jewler to open it, I have been unable to and was afraid of damaging it. Ok, inside looks good and shiney for the most part, but you can still see some rust. How does it rust on the inside? The serial number is 3216292. Best I can tell from searching online is this is approx 1938? Inside says it is 14K filled. There is the number 912 engraved. I'm assuming this is the grade? 17 jewels Adjusted/ I have no idea what that means. Says "Hamilton Watch Co Lancaster, PA. There is another number engraved on the edge- 79481 and on the inside of the case another number of 579431. This watch is NOT running and is missing 1 hand. It may not need much at all to get it running. It also does not have a crystal on the front. The jewler told me it would probably run around 100.00 to get it fixed up. I was thinking of selling it, but not sure it would be worth it. Thoughts?? thanks in advance for looking at this for me.
ok lets do this thing quartz vs automatic. I would say both for me. BTW here is my favorite quartz.
Got myself a new Safari...Amazing attention to detail & love the look of it!!
Not sure if I am unlucky or it's just unrealiable...Had a brand new volcano previosuly, bought it brand new and stopped working after 1 week, sent back to authorised dealer and got a refund back coz I am not willing to wait for 12 weeks to get it repaired. Now it happened again. Bumblebee completely stopped after only 1.5yrs. Sent back to service centre, claimed that 'oil runs dry' and have to wait for 8 weeks to collect it back. Luckily it is under warranty, otherwise it is another unncessary cost. Been telling myself....this could be the last time I go close to this brand.
Got this inspiration from the Queen Elizabeth II Cup 2011 Royal Oak FYI 15400 uses the same plots and leather strap size as the 15300 and 15202 so those wanting a different look on their 15400, you can purchase the 26/18 OEM straps and plots or get it from APbandsHave a great long weekend everyone !
