Bedat 768.020.078 wrist watches news:
Hello everyone I am brand new to the site today. I have been wearing my fathers Omega Seamaster Titane that he received as a gift brand new around 1981 or 1982 for about 8 years now. This is the first watch I have really ever stuck with due to the fact that is is very sturdy and resists water. It looks nice too. I had to change the battery when I first got it because it had been sitting in a drawer for many years. So in 1999 I took it to Mayors Jewelry in the Altamonte mall and had the battery replaced and they cleaned the outside for 40 bucks. Then about 2004 it stopped again and they changed the battery and cleaned the outside again. Just last month it stopped again so I took it to a different Mayors Jewelry and they said that it was not the battery and they had to send it to a service center to check it out. Well 4 weeks later they call me and say it needs a complete service, cleaning, oiling, new hands, and a battery for a grand total of 338.50 My question is do I really need to ha
Hello all - I don't normally post much on this forum, but I thought I'd share something funny that happened at an AP authorized dealer here in so cal. When I entered the store, I did a quick scan to see where the AP section was. There was a gentleman that was checking out watches at the display case, who was trying on a bunch of AP watches. He stood right smack in the middle of the case - all of the great pieces were in the center: 44mm ROO SS/Carbon/Ceramic, as well a bunch of 15400 pieces. I overheard him arguing with the saleslady about the polishing of the 15400. She told him that the links were brushed. Then he said No, you're wrong! they are polished. Just look at it! They went back and forth and the saleslady was getting visibly annoyed. I started to chuckle in my head and couldn't believe it. It was like two chickens fighting over something so minor.I figured since he wouldn't move and I couldn't get a good look at the pieces, i'll make one loop around the store. After 10 minu
