Ok people. Here is the question. You just spent a chunk of money on a mechanical timepiece, which will never be perfectly accurate. But what is an acceptable accuracy before you send the piece back for adjustment.?Oris owners manual actually says NOT to send back the watch if it's within +/- 30 seconds per day.I've always thought that +/- 20 seconds per day was tolerable. Local AD not shipping watch?
Hi all,Was hoping to get some opinions on this.I've been in the market for one of the hotter sport watches little over a month now. I called one a local AD who happened to have one that wasn't spoken for yet. I agreed over the phone that I would come in tomorrow to purchase the watch. However, I later asked if the watch could be shipped out of state and got an immediate no.Is it no longer allowed for AD's to send watches out of state, even when the purchase was done in store?Or is this associate telling me no because he think's he's doing me a favor by selling me this watch? (which I guess you can argue that he is doing me a favor)
