Hey all!Today I'm starting on my dissertation proposal for my MA degree, which will keep me quite bussy over the summer.I've decided to dive into the watch industry and research about how they repositioning their products to catch the consumer trends. Furter, I'll look into how specific companies in Swatch group and see how they did/do it. I've done some research allready and it seems to me that there are enough information out there to make it feasible.Well, I'm writing this to make sort of a diary of the progress, and some discussion question might be posted later on. 5270 Collector's Response 2 Year's Later...
It's been two years since this newest Perp Calendar Chrono was introduced at BaselWorld. When I saw it, I loved it. IMO, simplistic yet bold, elegant with much less clutter than it's predecessor.However, I did not pull the trigger back in 2011. I have heard... way overpriced.. they didn't sell too many.. collector's would rather their 5970's.. etc etc. Two years later, does it still carry the same stigma? Prices have dropped significantly on them and I am wondering if it is the right time to pick one up? Looking forward to collector's thoughts.
