Locman Men's 1970 Titanium Collection Chronograph Rubber Strap Watch Street Price: About $550The 1970 Titanium collection embodies Locman's emphasis on bold design and cutting-edge materials. This case is light-weight and super strong titanium with a carbon fiber dial. Titanium, in addition to being very light-weight and durable, is a totally non-allergenic material. Carbon fiber is a high-tech polymer, and currently one of the most sought-after materials, found in the most expensive watches. The watch is oversize and clean-lined, and the carbon fiber (which resembles a three-dimensional black-on-black checkerboard) adding some extra depth to the dial. This watch has a textured rubber strap - the rubber is durable and perfect for sports and other leisure activities, while the textured finish makes it a perfect choice for business functions. Further dial description includes silver-tone luminous Arabic numerals at 4:00, 8:00 and 12:00 with luminous indices at all remaining hour position
Well, after chasing down several Fed.Ex drivers, about an hour on the phone with Fed.Ex, and 5 more hours of waiting for the (correct) driver to get back to the main shipping distribution center, I FINALLY got my watch !! Here is some quick unboxing pictures, taken in a hurry in my car lol, and one wrist shot of my new Planet Ocean !! I absolutely LOVE this watch. The Lume on it is fantastic, I love Omegas new green/blueish glow !! There was no sun out when I got the watch, (it was just about dusk out), and the thing was still glowing like crazy ! It's a perfect fit for my wrist ! This is my new everyday watch. Thanks again for everyone's support
With Ruben's permission of course I'm posting these pics for your viewing pleasure. Who doesn't like a restoration? Well this is the Story. Ruben was looking for someone to restore his friends watch, and I contacted him to let him know that my partners and I are into restoring Omega cases. He sent me the watch and the rest follows as pics. Thanks Ruben! Omegas are fun and challenging to restore but when you do it right, the results are worth the hurdles. Maybe Ruben has a before pic. I only have a few disassembled before pics. This watch was also serviced and fitted with a new original crystal.
I am soon to purchase my first Rolex. Debating between the 114060 and the 116610LN. While I was there trying them on I asked about the submariner issue of the magazine and was blessed with 3 issues. The submariner, the yacht-master, and the sky-dweller. Great reading and coffee table material. If anyone needs either I¡¯m willing to ship to someone. I am keeping the sub issue for myself tho.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
