Hamilton Watch Company, founded in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1892, marks its 120th anniversary this year. I've been here for nearly a year, and in that time my collection has grown quite a bit! Since it will be a few months before my next addition I thought that now would be a good time to do a State Of The Collection (SOTC) post. I have never done one before, so I'll just feel out how best to do it as I go along.I guess I might as well start with what got me to this point before jumping in to the watches. I remember getting my first watch when I was 5 years old. We were living in England at the time and my parents promised that they would buy me a watch when I learned to tell the time properly. Well, I learned around the time we went on a campervan tour through Europe, so while we were in Switzerland they bought me my first watch! I still have it in a drawer, the crystal is a bit scratched and it no longer runs and it doesn't have a strap any more, but it is still there.Through the years I always loved watches and took every opportunity to stare in shop windows at the watches. Planet Ocean GMT 2013 bought! HELL YEAH!
I worked hard and long for the Omega planet ocean Orange Crono but after many days of talks..and frankly the unavailability of the the color choice for my time frame I bought the limited edition or so i was told Planet Ocean GMT instead! I'm so happy with my purchase! here are some pics of this beautiful watch.next perchance is the blue rubber band with white stitching! love the look of that but at 400 bucks with the buckle it may be awhile.

Walking the White Side...PAM 113
I shared my new rugged Pam 024 Submersible, now for the more refined Panerai PAM 113. I¡¯m a sucker for White Dials, so out went my white IWC AT 2000 and in comes its replacement the PAM 113. The dial is a Bright White which I love, the filter I used soften the dial color a bit. I almost grabbed a Pam 114 but I kept leaning towards having the third hand so the 113 it was! Now I'm going strap crazy and must reign myself in!
