Bell & Ross BR01-93 wrist watches news:
My enthusiasm for Omegas just ended, with the second dud out of three Speedies, all of which were bought new from ADs. My 21 month old Schumacher Red Legend came apart in my hand as I was attempting to change the date for October. The crown, which is not screw in, came away and fell on the floor. The watch - it really is a beauty - is on its way back to the dealer whence it came. Has anyone else had this problem with a virtually new watch? Mine has shared duties with half a dozen others and has had no hammer whatsoever. I remember the late, great Chuck Maddox telling me the automatic Speedmasters are rubbish and advising me not to buy. (I think it's the cal. 3313). If only I'd listened!
I've already worn the black one today, 'er umm, this morning. . for the second half of this Monday I'll more than likely wear this old watch
I received this very nice 1960's 44 Jewels MST 437 today. via the bay.
Eyeing another Omega. In the past, I had gotten a good deal from my AD, but they no longer carry Omegas. Whats a good discount to expect from an AD? Is 20% off high or low? FYI - I would expect at least 12% off Rolex from my AD, and a but more on Omega if AD still carried.I am interested in the Seamaster 300 Master Co AxThanks
Found an old shot I took of my clasp. Anybody else have clasp pics to share?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
