Casio, which launched its first Casio G-Shock watch with Bluetooth technology in 2011, introduced the latest generation in its series of smartphone-compatible watches at last week’s 2014 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The Casio STB-1000 uses Bluetooth v4.0, with low-energy wireless technology, to enable wearers to check personal fitness data from popular mobile apps, operate a music player on a smartphone, and more. With the new STB-1000, Casio extends its iPhone compatibility, enabled through Bluetooth v4.0, to the sports-watch category. It is compatible with four iPhone fitness apps: Abvio¡¯s Runmeter, Walkmeter, and Cyclemeter (abvio), as well as Wahoo Fitness (wahoofitness), all of which are downloadable from the Apple App Store. Having spent many years in the advertising industry, I still notice ads. Some are good, some are bad, some are funny, and some are totally distasteful. Here's an example. Too bad. Good watch, bad ad.What's your opinion?
The wait is killing me!! I can't wait! I've been on the hunt for this watch for over a year now but was distracted by my PAM purchase. And now I'm about to complete my humble collection, well, as far as I can foresee. I apologize in advance for my ranting.
Hi guys! It's that time for me again...2014 was a good year at work, and it's time to spend some bucks on a new watch! I've had my PAM183 for a little over a year now, and I've really enjoyed it.For the most part, I've been a fan of minimal watches, but now I'm starting to consider something different. Here are some of my thoughts, although I'm very open to change:- I've never had a chrono- I value the GMT function- My wrist can handle a 47mm- I generally can't stomach the Luminor's crown guard, but it looks okay on the left-handersI was wondering if you guys could make suggestions for my second PAM? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts Thanks!
Dead and Co rocked the Boston Garden Sunday night. John Mayer sported the BLRO and delivered big time! Fun to watch him. He does wear it a bit loose. Something about the wrist expanding while playing guitar. It was no problem to slide it off his wrist. Here¡¯s a quick pic. Now I have to find him again.
