Blancpain 2100 14 wrist watches news:
Hello and good day guys, would love your help and appreciate any feedback you can offer on this piece. What model and does it look authentic? Thanks in advance.
Okay, I've been lusting after this watch since I saw the original Ventura electric and loved the unique shape. When the new automatics first came out, I saw the case size and just figured it was too big for my wrist and I'd be ineligible to wear it. BUT, today at our favorite watch shop, my husband asked to see the new auto Ventura and it didn't look that big after all.....and when he decided he didn't like the brown face, I said "lemme see that!", and tried it on and fell in love with it. I do like the brown face, gives a better contrast to the silver tick marks than the silver face....so Merry Christmas to ME! LOL
I recently picked up this pre-loved Omega Speedmaster in good condition and for a good price. It came with a SS bracelet which didn't do anything for me so I switched it out for this Hirsch leather strap which gives it a completely new look. The thing that most attracted me to this watch was the triple date function, something I had been missing in my collection until now. Here are a few quick shots I took with my pocket camera before I get it into my light box later this week. Enjoy the picsDrew
I am thinking about getting a new strap for a forged carbon diver. AP makes a 29mm x 20mm strap for the new chronos (20mm at the buckle), and there are now both tang and deployant options. Has anyone tried the deployant? Thanks!
I am having a difficult time picking my next time piece. I am looking for a daily wear like my 15300 with non calendar complications except date around the 30k range. Also need to have decent water resistance for swimming or water activities (missing in my AP)I tried on a 5711 with white dial at local dealer. Really liked the fit with slim case. My AP is white dialed so wanted the blue dial. I recently lost an opportunity to buy a blue dialed 5711 at retail ($25k) and refuse to pay mark up prices. Looking at the PP catalog, the Aquanaut caught my eye a watch I never really considered. It seems practical, durable and the rubber strap is unique in the PP line plus same movement as the 5711. I have had other rubber strap watches and have been quite comfortable. The aquanaut seems to be overlooked often over the Nautilus. Within budget I can get the 5167R with gold case and clasp or the 5164 steel world time that can be useful during travels. Though the left pushers on 5164 seems out of pl
