- Love this watch. It is light to wear, looks great, and I can read the time easily. Band comes large and I simply took to my local watchman to remove the links necessary for my wrist. Would recommend to anyone.

Blancpain Blancpain 38014 wrist watches news:
Once or twice a year I catch the band of my watch on something (I'm a Carpenter); knock the pin(s) out and loose the watch. I've been wearing a Casio divers watch which is inexpensive, robust and easy to read. I've dropped more of those than I care to remember into one abyss or another. So I have a two part questions:Can those pins be toughen somehow?Should I go to a none pinned watch like the Bertucci? If so; other recommendations would be appreciated.RegardsDave
My watch won't be here for at least 6 weeks if not longer.
Greetings,I'm interested in purchasing a skeleton watch and I'm looking for information and suggestions. Here's my requirements:-Under $400.-Swiss movement, no asian. Maybe Russian if the price is really right.-Silver tone/chrome/stainless/titanium, little or no gold, no jewels.-Black strap or metal bracelet.Quartz/Auto/Manual makes no difference. I'm flexible on case size. Given these parameters I've been mostly looking at Invicta but I'm having a hard time finding information about the movements of a lot of their models. Does anyone know about the movement in the 2048? I know the 7140 has a Swiss movement, but it's on the high side price-wise and I'm not sure how well I like the look. I believe the 9838 and the 2912 have Russian movements, can someone confirm? If anyone can give more information on these or point me toward something else it would be greatly appreciated.Preston
Hi everyone!I came across this forum while trying to find a few answers in regards to my recently purchased my first AP (only owned Rolexs so far) from an AD and couldn't find any answers on the web so was hoping I could get some from experienced AP owners on this forum.I was just wandering if it is normal for the the ROO minute and hour hands to feel loose or have play while adjusting the time as my Rolexs have little to no play while adjusting the time and if it is normal for the watch to continually wind the movement while screwing down the crown.I have sent AP an email for answers but they pretty much told me to take it to the AD again to ask and as I live in Taipei for work now and my Chinese sucks I think it would be much quicker asking here. Thanks!
Hi folks,I have a PO2500 and I love the way the glass disappears at certain angle. Of cos we all know this is due to the duo coated AR glass.I wonder if Omega has similar duo AR coated glass for the standard classic SMP300 Bond (Ref 22208000). I hope to achieve this glass disappearing effect for the SMP300 too.I check Ofrei website but they can only help if I give them the case number. Being the first owner and having that little red dot of the caseback, I don't think I want to open up the case as I prefer to keep her factory sealed. Thanks for all tips!
