- I received this watch very quickly. I had to have it sized down, but it is very dainty and looks very pretty on my wrist. I do not know how durable it is, although I gave it 5 stars, because I only wear it when I dress up. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Blancpain 6654-3642-55b wrist watches news:
The spring auction season has come to an end and in the horological collecting world as in the world at large, the flight to quality assets and the ascendance of Asia are dominant themes. As the price of gold climbs, so too do auction prices for the best pieces: rare Patek Philippe timepieces, especially vintage models – the gold ingots of the watch world, and unique, important historical pieces. Quality and rarity never go out of style. At Christie¡¯s May 10 marathon sale of nearly 370 timepieces in Geneva , the first 9 of the top 10 selling lots were vintage Patek Philippes selling for between $418,000 and $5.7 million. In tenth position, the other most reliable brand at auction, a 1955 Rolex triple calendar chronograph ref. 6036 came in at $407,000, far above the pre-sale estimate of $270,000. During this sale and a prior sale in November, Christie¡¯s offered what proved to be the most expensive private Patek Philippe collection ever sold at auction. A full 100% of the anonymous
I've had this Hamilton pocket watch for many years but I don't know much about it and I was hoping someone might be able to tell me what year it might be from or what model, maybe even an approximate value or any other informationIt's approximately the size of a silver dollar (about an inch and half in diameter) the back opens up but you can't see the inside of the watch, you can see an inscription on one side (I'm fairly certain the inscription includes the date May 12, 1955 but I can't really read it clearly my eyes aren't what they used to be...) and the Hamilton information on the other.Hamilton Watch Co.Keystone14k12723Lancaster, PAAny info would be appreciated, thanks :-)
I am a new member and I know little about watches but have inherited a watch recently. It has been in our family for over 60 years and would really appreciate some information, as I have not been able to find any. It says Philippe on the front only and it is a chronograph antimagnetique stainless steel watch. It has the number 2519 on the outside case and 16231 on the inside of the case. I have some pictures if this would help but I am not sure how to upload them.Thank you in advanceLucy
AllI am contemplating to pull trigger on my first PP within these couple of months. I have decided to go for Nautilus since I am a sucker for sport watch. This topic must have been discussed so many times before. However, this is the options that I may have. Please let me know which will you go and why? Please feel free to let me know your thoughts. Thanks. 1. 5712a brand new from AD with my name printed on cert. 2. a 98% new 5726a barcelet dated 2011.3. a 90% 5980 blue dial dated 2009, used quite extensively. Hairlines almost every where. For 2&3, the sellers are willing to go to AD for verification. Price wise, all 3 are quite similar, less than 1k difference. Which one will you go?
About to pull the trigger on a GMT II (16710) and am seriously torn between two watches. Black bezel 16710 in good condition (7/10) with box & papersPepsi bezel 16720 in great condition (near NOS) with current RSC (till 2020) and box with spare black bezel but no original papersThe Pepsi is €300 more.I'm looking for a Pepsi ideally but want a black bezel too to swap out occasionally (the lower price of the black is enough to buy a spare Pepsi bezel)Can't decide which to go for!
