Baselworld 2015: Hublot’s New Big Bang Ferrari Models (Updated with Live Photos and Prices)
Hublot’s new Big Bang Ferrari, which premiere this week at Baselworld 2015, comes in two different color combinations. Both versions have Ferrari characteristics that Hublot had not previously used, but are still distinctly Hublot in design.These new Big Bang Ferrari models join the growing family of watches made in the three-year-old partnership between Hublot and Ferrari. That partnership had its highlight so far in 2013, when Hublot introduced the MP-05 LaFerrari, a mechanical watch with a 50-day power reserve.The new watches are named for their coloring: the Big Bang Ferrari Black Ceramic and the Big Bang Ferrari Grey Ceramic. They have 45-mm cases made fully in ceramic. Push-pieces for the chronograph, situated at 2 and 4 o’clock, are made of titanium and either satin finished (on the gray model) or PVD treated (on the black). Can you geniuses (genii?) identify this watch???
OK, last night on my new favorite TV show, The Good Guys, a very blinged out watch was featured. Anyone see this? Well, you should, because it is a very funny, cool, retro cop show on Faux (Fox).I tried to Google it, but could not find it. It was a gold-toned chronograph - not Rolex - that had red, white and blue round diamonds on the bezel. Not baguettes. My wife loved the watch and said, "Now that is a watch you can get me."Any ideas? I've got to find this watch.

As the title implies, I am considering my first Rolex. My options are the Explorer 1 (lumed 39MM) or the 5-digit ExplorerII. Prices are relatively close.My wife likes the New Explorer.
