- I received this watch as a Christmas present from my in-laws. I absolutely love it. It is very dainty and feminine looking. I could not be happier with this watch. Why not have a glide lock clasp on more models?
I just got my wife a Date 34 for her birthday and it has the comfort extension link like I suppose all of the Datejusts. I have a new Submariner with the glide lock clasp and I absolutely love that feature. Especially when I¡äm taking long flights (I get swallen) or during heatwaves. Also when training when abroad, I can strap the watch on the outside of the jacket when I go for runs etc. etc.After getting used to the glide lock clasp, I kind of feel sorry for my wife for only having the comfort extension link which only adds about 5mm in flexibility.It also makes me have reservations about getting a GMT II which I¡äve wanted since it doesn¡ät have the glide lock clasp.Am I overthinking this or am I not the only one?
