AD question again
I bought my DJ and my Sub from local AD for 10% discount and now looking at an EXP II. Discount is 16% but it is a D model. How important is that? Should I try to find the same discount somewhere else for a V or Z? There aren't many AD,s around me and I have checked a couple of them and one had a Y and the other another D. will appreciate some advise.

Tool watches - to have or not to have?
Inspired by an incoming thread, I wanted to open up a discussion for your thoughts and opinions. I recently bought a Seiko Black Monster and it stirred up some commotion. I thought this would be a better place for you all to share your opinions.As many of you know my collection is taking a flight to quality and I bought this Seiko Black Monster as a tool watch. It doesn't fit in my collection at all but I still like it. It fits nicely is easy to read and has a lot of nice complications. Here it is:My collection is built around Swiss time pieces from Maurice Lacroix, Breitling, and a German Nomos. Quite nice watches for me.I would like to know if you have a tool watch, why you do, and if it fits with your collection. Also up for debate is if the watch fits in your collection and if it can be appreciated as something that is reliable and something that you don't need to worry about scratching.Adam, please share your thoughts if you can appreciate the concept or not. On a Vintage roll!
I had some time this afternoon so I shot a few pics of the futuristic automatic we call the Jetson's watch. I think it's from the mid 60's but I haven't had it opened to be sure. It's NOS so the pink wax is still on the back around the ballet dancer symbol, which makes it tough to see if the date code is stamped there as it normally is. This is one funky watch!I thought a few of you would get a kick out of this one.

What section can I find Movado and ESQ watches?
I can't seem to find a section for Movado watches. I know they are Swiss Timepieces but what section are they in? Does anyone have any experience with there ESQ line of watches? They have a Chronograph watch that I am interested in, the Criterion 07301311. Also is there a section for "other watches" like the less popular brands such as Guess watches like the Waterpro models or are they considered cheap garbage? I have a beautiful 2-tone gold and silver Waterpro that is waterproof to 100M, keeps excellent time and I get alot of compliments on it. People are surprised when they see the name on the face of the watch. It is stainless steel, and a heavy piece with sapphire crystal and has a high quality look to it. Who makes their watches for them anyway?

question about swapping out of bands
Am tired of buying cheap watches that don't last long and can't keep time accurately. In looking through this forum community, it seems that both Victorinox and Tissot make quality watches. I have found models from both brands that I like, but I would like to replace the all metal band with a leather band (not big on the pinch factor).
